Going to the office with mom in order to save gasoline = sucks.
Recently (as in two days ago), my little family acquired a wii Fit. Life is changed.
I am addicted, I love working out (more so than before), and I am growing increasingly irritated that I can't be working out on the wii right now. Yesterday I jogged 2 miles or more on it, along with a multitude of other exercises likie yoga, strength training, and games to improve one's balance. The balance games are difficult, and in my opinion suck compared to everything else, because once you obtain better balance... I really don't think you'll notice too much. I mean, we aren't all hiking or rope-walking or skiing every day. They can be fun to pass the time, though. I did about every game and exercise the wii Fit offered at the time (you get more activity options as you progress, a state-the-obvious game statement) and though my body is sore, I am dying to do more. My back hurts quite a bit - I don't think I've ever acknowledged many of my back muscles before. I guess really its pretty pathetic, that people (or I guess I should speak for myself) depend on technology so much, they can't even muster up enough effort to run a couple laps in a park without a computer telling them to because it insists its enjoyable.
Anything to get you off your ass though, right? If this doesn't get me some abs this summer, nothing ever will.
Blegh. I may be getting my hair cut today. I hope so; I really, really want a haircut.
